Welcome to ÉLUMÉ. By accessing or purchasing from elume.co.za (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
ÉLUMÉ is a South African brand offering premium red light therapy devices for personal home use. The Site is operated from South Africa and all transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
2. Eligibility
By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or accessing the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You also confirm that the information you provide during checkout is accurate and complete.
3. Products
We make every effort to display our products accurately, including colours, features, and specifications. However, slight variations may occur due to screen settings, photography, and manufacturing updates. ÉLUMÉ reserves the right to modify product specifications, packaging, and pricing without prior notice.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Payment must be received in full before any order is dispatched. Accepted payment methods include EFT and any additional methods displayed at checkout.
5. Orders
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. ÉLUMÉ reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, product unavailability, or pricing errors. You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order is received, and a separate confirmation once payment has reflected.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are dispatched via Aramex within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Estimated delivery time is 8–11 working days. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by courier delays, customs, or unforeseen circumstances. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery.
7. Returns and Refunds
Our Refund & Returns Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully before purchasing.
8. Product Use and Disclaimer
ÉLUMÉ devices are wellness products intended for personal cosmetic and lifestyle use only. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Statements made on the Site, in marketing materials, or in product descriptions have not been evaluated by any regulatory authority. Results vary from person to person.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using ÉLUMÉ products if you are pregnant, taking photosensitive medication, have a history of skin cancer or eye conditions, or have any medical concerns. Use of the products is entirely at your own risk.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the ÉLUMÉ name, logo, product images, text, graphics, and design — is the property of ÉLUMÉ and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, to interfere with the operation of the Site, or to upload or transmit any harmful code or content.
